Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Reflection
Teaching practice has been an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience. Throughout this journey, I have gained valuable insights into lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement. It has been fulfilling to see students actively participate, grasp new concepts, and develop their understanding through interactive learning.
One of the key highlights of my teaching practice was the opportunity to build strong relationships with students. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment helped boost their confidence and motivation. I also learned the importance of flexibility—adapting my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students ensured that every learner had the opportunity to succeed.
Classroom management was another area where I saw growth. By using clear expectations, engaging activities, and positive reinforcement, I was able to maintain a structured yet supportive atmosphere. The experience also reinforced the value of effective communication, both in delivering lessons and in interacting with students and colleagues.
While there were challenges along the way, each obstacle became a learning opportunity. Reflecting on feedback from mentors and students helped me refine my teaching strategies and develop a more student-centered approach.
