Teaching practice -Observation Day @ Gov.H.S.S Kottukal

Today ( 24/10/2024) was the class observation day for me.Natural Science optional teacher, Mrs.Jayasree Ma'am came to observed my class.I took class for the students  in 9C. I taught them the topic - Human Respiratory System: its parts and functions. I used ICT, Chart and a working model of respiratory system as teaching aids to convey the topic. I started the class by showing the  students  a sports video by world running champion Ussain Bolt.After the race is over, he breath noisly. I developed the lesson through this video. After the observation, teacher said that it was a good class, good lesson template,good classroom management and time management, audible voice, good teaching aids etc .She gave a suggestion that when describing parts like pleura, comparative example like skin can be use. I felt happy after the class, because all students were attended the class well.

Teaching Practice phase 2

Teaching practice phase 2 started on 6th january 2024. We reached at school on 9.30 am, after the prayer, we met Head mistress and she gave some instructions after that we went to corresponding classes. In the 3rd period I got a class in 8A. First of all I introduced my self, and each and every students intriduced individually. After that, I taught them a lesson from the chapter Diversity for sustanance. I taught them, Food chain and food web.I gave them activities, they all done it properly. In the 4th period, I got a substitution class in 10A.It was there English period, I made the students read out the text one by one. I done noon meal duty at afternoon.
